Operation at Columbus for Miss Elsie Sturgeon
Mrs. R H Sturgeon of West Findlay Street was called to Columbus by her daughter Elsie a longtime city employee. At Grant Hospital an emergency appendectomy was performed that night. Mr Sturgeon, inspecting hatcheries for the Ohio Poultry Improvement Association, returned home Saturday then departed for Columbus. Elsie is reported to be getting along fine.

Methodist Parsonage Gets New Oak Floors
New oak floors were laid last week in the Methodist parsonage. The Dorcas Bible class sponsored the project and saved on taxes to fund the work. Mrs Millie Payne Suffers Injuries In Kitchen Fall
Mrs Millie Payne, 85, sustained hip and arm injuries after a fall in her kitchen on E Findlay street last Thursday. She lay for hours before calling for help. Neighbor W B Hoff, who lives next door, heard tapping and aided her. By Wednesday she was slightly improved though earlier in the week her condition was serious.
