Norman Kromer age 29 and his wife Helen 24 of 206 North Vance street and Helen Hoy 16 of Kirby were injured when their car collided with a truck at the Routes 30 N and 96 intersection south of Carey. All three bruised. Mrs Kromer seriously hurt and later moved to Mercy hospital Tiffin.

House and Contents Destroyed by Fire
The Carey fire department responded at 1 30 Friday to Mr and Mrs John Bowling’s residence on N Vance street. The three room bungalow burned uncontrollably. the home and furnishings were destroyed. The Bowling family escaped in night clothing with their week old daughter. Loss estimated over 3000 insured. Calaway Risner owned the house. Mr Bowling worked for National Lime and Stone Co. The family is staying with Mrs Bowing’s parents in Tiffin.
