Mr and Mrs Floyd Pieracini sold their 112 West Street home to Mr and Mrs Gerald Gosche and will move with their children Edwin Terese and Angela to Edith Avenue Findlay. Pieracini a barber there. The three have lived together six years and Mathern also sold her Clay Street residence to Mathern's Bakery.

Village workers do fine job of snow removal
George Coakley superintendent of the village street water and sewer departments and his crew worked 22 hours New Year's Day to clear the streets of seven inches of snowfall. They began at 10 a.m. and worked 17 hours straight to 3 a.m. Jan 2, then finished later that day. When business resumed last Thursday morning streets were well cleaned and parking was no problem.

Wyandot County farmers short of hay due to last summer's drought can learn to stretch roughage at an Attica school forage crop institute on January 16 starting 9 30 a m. William Mitchell of the Extension Service announced C N McGrew OSU extension dairy specialist will outline combinations of forages and the cost impact of concentrate feeding along with methods to maximize forage value and budgeting for cows and young stock.
