A 22 year old Alvada woman Marsha Mellett was injured in a one car accident on State Route 199 north of Fostoria. Her southbound car slid off the road striking a mailbox and she was treated at Fostoria City Hospital.

Sgt Bixler enjoy ed 514 days rest in Hawaii from Dong Tam Vietnam. He met his four month old son and toured Reefit Hal Sealife Park Pearl Harbor International Market Place and a Hawaiian lua. One Car Accident Investigated in Wyandot County
A one car crash 52 miles northwest of Carey on county road three occurred at 3 30 pm Tuesday December 31 1968. Sandra E. Grace of Alvada driving west on route three swerved to miss three dogs, icy roads caused loss of control, car hit an anchor post and a farm fence owned by Florence Salzer, Carey. No injuries reported and damage described as extensive to the front of the vehicle.
