The Nalisteo Club formed by National Lime and Stone Company employees opened a club room in the New Hard Block on New Year’s Eve with nearly 100 attendees. Music from Atwater-Kent Tube radios and entertainment featured cards, billiards, and a luncheon at 10:00. Officers include Matt Otto president and R. J. Green treasurer, with T. S. Baker and J. W. Vorhis on the board. The club aims to expand winter attractions and serve all plant employees.

Operation at Kenton hospital saves gall stones patient
Mrs William Lombard underwent gall stone surgery at Kenton Hospital on Tuesday forenoon at 9 o clock. Several stones were removed and she recovered nicely after the operation. Present were her daughter Mrs A Williams sister Margaret Heiser and Dr R C ape Buren. Van Lira Williams was called to Fastoria by the death of his uncle Sam Williams aged 88, a Civil War veteran and former resident.
