The Carey Police Department received a grand larceny report involving $450 worth of tools and a Kodak camera from Louis King at 445 E. South Street. His car, parked in the Amerace Corporation lot on Dow Street, had a broken right front window after 4 PM January 3 to midnight. Items taken include multiple Ridgid pipe wrenches and a brown tool box, a loost ex card, National dye taps, and an 8 mm Kodak camera with case.

Failure To Yield Causes Accident In Upper Sandusky
Cletus E. Gottfried of 497 North St Upper Sandusky Ohio pulled from a parking space on West Findlay Street and struck a vehicle driven by Susan Kay Arnett of Carey while Arnett was turning into the Peoples Bank driveway. Damages were about 35 dollars to the Gottfried car and 90 dollars to the Arnett car. No charges were filed. The article notes a global water shortage issue.
