Church Moves To New Building On W Brown Avenue
The Church of God of Prophecy moved from 122 S. Vance Street into the basement of its new building on W. Brown Avenue on December 22. Winter services will be in the basement prayer meeting room. The planned structure includes a main auditorium three Sunday School rooms and restrooms and should be completed by mid summer. Rev Harold Huff serves as pastor.

Times Continues To Accept Money For Hungarian Relief
The Carey Times reports donations totaling $107.25 to the Wyandot County Chapter of the American Red Cross for Hungarian relief. Contributions from Porcelain Products Inc. and the Carey High School clubs plus local donors supported a county quota of $502. Donations continue with help from Mrs. Ted Withrow, who collected $77 on hand and noted other town sums. The office will receive further gifts and assist residents with relief needs and adoption inquiries.

December receipts totaled 255 due partly to free parking from December 17 to Christmas. For five weeks in December 1955 receipts reached 73650, and November 1956 receipts were 62750. Total 1956 parking meter receipts were 6318, compared with 7273 in 1955. Since January 1950 meters have produced 5108850 in receipts. Initially 150 meters cost 7250 each, totaling 10875, paid off from revenue. a few more meters were later added, bringing the fleet to 152 in operation.
