Death of John P Halloran at his Findlay Street home
John P. Halloran died at 8 30 Saturday morning after a week with pneumonia at his Findlay street residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Our Lady of Consolation Church with burial in Wharton cemetery. He was born February 16 1879 in Washington Court House to Thomas and Mary Ellen Halloran. He married Ella Ward October 17 1901 and leaves a daughter Irene and several grandchildren and siblings. He worked for the Big Four railroad starting at age 17 and was a conductor at death.

Married 68 Years Celebration Planned for Hancock County Couple
Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Miller will mark sixty eight years of marriage with a New Year Day dinner at their home 315 East Street Rindlay. They wed January 1 1868 at the home of Mrs. Miller’s parents seven miles southwest of Findlay Rev Rose officiated the ceremony. Mrs Ita Wurmser is the only living witness. The couple are Hancock county’s oldest. Their children include Mrs G C Davis C W Miller of Findlay and Mrs W Y Templeton of Tonia Mich. They have ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Eight-year-old undergoes appendicitis operation
