Hart Green Post 344 met in its club room on Tuesday evening with good attendance. Commander Paul Krupp led, minutes were approved, and all committee reports were accepted. Finance officer S. R. Bame reported strong finances with a year end balance over 200 dollars and 150 dollars in treasury certificates. The post voted to secure official grave markers for four deceased members Earl Green Reuben Pahl Paul B E Blue and Herschel Updegraph. The group planned its share of the 83rd Division War Relief Fund and a 200 dollar plus benefit. A committee led by A D McGill C Simonis and A F Byers prepared a petition for adjusted World War I compensation. Otto Pflueger spoke on life and work in the Philippines Forestry Service. A special meeting was set for Monday February 14 urging all members to attend.
