The John Wenzinger family north of Carey honors their fox terrier Fritzie now 12 years old, a grand old age for dogs. Once active at catching rats and a favorite playmate, he is now deaf with creaking joints yet still enjoys plain German food and salt potatoes. The family hopes to keep him until natural death.

Mr and Mrs E T Lab and son Richard moved to Arcadia on Monday and will operate the Korner restaurant there. They moved from Carey where they had lived since about 1905 after relocating from Litchfield 20 years ago. Mr Lab worked 21 years with the A Co Y railroad and 4 years with the New York Central. Mrs Lab previously worked at the Flox store in Carey. F H Paessler resumes full time management at Flox store after recovering his health.

Timothy Jon Althauser two died Sunday morning after he fell from the back seat of a car driven by his father near Mc Cutchenville. He died at Mercy hospital Tiffin from a fractured skull. The family was en route to Ralph Bacon's home near Sycamore.
