Skidding Auto Knocks Out Phones in Ohio Crash
A southbound auto on U S 23 near Springville skidded off the highway and struck a tree before colliding with a Northern Ohio Telephone Co pole at 4 45 p m last Wednesday. The impact snapped the pole 16 feet high, disabled 8 telephones briefly. Driver Miss Lora Jean Smalley 21 of Toledo suffered minor injuries. The tree and Lewis J Seymour farm lawn were damaged. The Ohio Power Co line served by the pole also affected.

Carey man pleads guilty to delinquency charge
Robert Snook, 31, of Carey, appeared in Hancock County Juvenile Court and pled guilty to acting to cause delinquency by making improper advances and furnishing a 16 year old with intoxicating beverages.
