College Quartet to Sing at Oak Grove

The Manchester College male quartet of North Manchester Indiana will give a concert at Oak Grove Church of the Brethren five and a half miles northwest of town on Sunday afternoon December 27 at 2 00 o clock. The group, on an extended trip through central United States, performs classical and popular numbers with piano and vocal solos. All welcome.

Early Christmas Service at Christ Church

The usual early Christmas service is planned at Christ Lutheran church Friday morning at 6:00. The service features decorated chancel lighting and a processional hymn, with the choir singing Joy To the World and The Birthday of a King. Miss Louise Van Buren will solo Silent Night and Rev. Young People Watch Party At Methodist Church

Christmas Services at Our Lady of Consolation

New Year Benefit By PTA Aims For Underfed Children

A January 4 New Year's benefit at the high school auditorium, organized by the Parent-Teacher Association and led by Mrs H Keller, seeks funds for the undernourished child project. Relatives report the death of Mrs Theresa Reinhart Siebenauer at her Detroit home Saturday. The 64 year old widow was laid to rest in Napoleon after services at the Catholic church. Miss Lina Davidson obituary notes lifelong Wyandot figure

Miss Lina Davidson born November 12 1861 spent her life on the family farm four miles south of town. A longtime teacher in Wyandot county and parochial schools, she was a devoted Catholic, active in the Altar Society and various societies. Funeral services were held at her home and St Joseph's church with burial in the church cemetery.
