Funeral of Mrs Mary Ruehle Held in Adrian
The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ruehle, who died at her Adrian home Tuesday afternoon, was conducted Friday at 2:00 PM at the Adrian Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. Lewis P. Speaker officiated, with music by local quartets and Miss Elsie Howard. Burial was in McCutchynville Cemetery. Pallbearers included Thomas Raredow, B. J. Clouse, and others. Attendees ranged from Fostoria to Upper Sandusky, with numerous Gessner and Sprow relatives listed.

Death of Union editor recalled in Marion Star report
The Marion Star notes the death of Mrs. S R Reber former editor of the Union at Upper Sandusky. She died in Highland Falls New York at 1 30 pm Thursday called there by the death of her brother Frank Tripp aged 74. Uremic poisoning is given as the cause. Frank Tripp formerly lived in Upper Sandusky and later moved to Highland Falls. He is survived by two daughters Mrs John Meyer and Miss Edith Tripp of Highland Falls. Two sisters Mrs J F Ficken and Mrs Reber of Marion and a brother William H Tripp of Highland Falls also survive.

Dana A. Howard, a World War veteran, died at a hospital near Kerrville Texas on December 10. His remains arrived in Carey and were taken to Sutter undertaking rooms. A funeral service officiated by Rev. A G Tozer was held at the evangelical church and burial followed in Richtie cemetery Crawford. He was born February 15 1898 in Marion and was the son of Louis and Martha Wright Howard. His mother is dead and his father resides at Marengo. He was a grandson of John Wright of this city.
