Fifty members of the local W B A attended a joint election and installation of officers Friday evening. Mrs Myrtle Perkins led as president with Lt Lilian Steusloff of Toledo in attendance. New officers include Mrs Perkins as president and Miss Dorcas Kidwell as Miss America, among many names listed. Beano followed, then ice cream and cake.

Pickle Company Plans Medina Shipping Center

H. W Madison Co of Medina represented by S A Stern discussed establishing a pickle shipping center in town. A January farmers meeting will pledge acreage for pickle production, seeking about a hundred acres. Local rep Newcomer of Vanlue and Carey will coordinate.

Transmission line cuts power to Berwick and Carey

Tuesday morning residents in Berwick and Carey lost electricity from 6 30 to 7 20 as a transmission line between the towns failed in extreme cold weather. People started their day late, with many finishing dressing shaving and cooks searching for breakfast.

He argued the schools must expand to meet social changes, outlining historical development and future responsibilities.
