Fire discovered Monday around 11 25 in the southeast part of town destroyed the garage and a Studebaker auto. A short circuit in the car is believed to have started the blaze. the house was unscathed despite the 20 foot distance.
The Printz-Biederman People, a Cleveland cloak concern, has forwarded floor plans to the Chamber of Commerce for a local branch. They promise a suitable location and employment for women workers. Mrs Arthur Byers and Miss Doreas Kennerley canvassed town residences and secured over 30 pledges.
A notice notes many farmers plan moving in spring with numerous farm sales booked for fall delayed to spring due to slow activity.
A batch of 1231 auto license tags has arrived at the county treasurer's office and is ready for distribution to vehicle owners. The shipment will be issued under standard procedures and will support renewed registrations and new vehicle plate needs.

Deane Tobias from California reports English walnuts produced by the Saticoy Walnut Growers Association. J W Miller says Tobias and his father delivered 83,288 pounds to the warehouse with about 4,000 pounds left for sale. The crop may total around 26,000 dollars. The association processed and shipped 180 tons in 29 hours, with 375 carloads sent during a 30 day season. J W Miller received a sample box from Deane Tobias.
Bert Redmond of Carey Ohio licensed 3885 seeks to amend license by striking from the record several agents including M Thorp Ravenna Ohio Fred Goddard Alliance Ohio G W Sutphen Carey Ohio W J Baker Carey Ohio R C Pennington Carey Ohio GW Beis Carey Ohio L Ho Hamme Carey Ohio in December 1920 under the Ohio Securities Commission proceedings.

J J Stott & Son held a sale on November 30 drawing a large crowd. Horses sold for 3Pic, sheep brought $724, corn at $1096, and machinery sold exceptionally well.

Installation is set for the first Monday in January.
Nearly thirty five witnesses have been summoned for the State against Benjamin C Reynold in common pleas court next Tuesday. Reynolds, of Toledo, is alleged to be connected with clothing robberies at Cares when a large number of suits were taken from a house. The case promises to be highly interesting in court.
The Cares Mill and Elevator Co states an earlier report was in error stating the mill had not milled flour for the past month. The mill has been running almost full time and the company apologizes for the misinformation.
