Garage and auto burned at Peter Brooks residence

Fire discovered Monday around 11 25 in the southeast part of town destroyed the garage and a Studebaker auto. A short circuit in the car is believed to have started the blaze. the house was unscathed despite the 20 foot distance.

Floor plans sent by Cleveland firm for city branch

The Printz-Biederman People, a Cleveland cloak concern, has forwarded floor plans to the Chamber of Commerce for a local branch. They promise a suitable location and employment for women workers. Mrs Arthur Byers and Miss Doreas Kennerley canvassed town residences and secured over 30 pledges.

Hand Shot Wounds Man During Farm Hunt

Tuesday Ed Hill Allen Black and Win Youngpeter hunted on Joe Smiths farm three miles northeast of town. Hill received a flesh wound to the left hand when the pistol exploded while he knocked an apple from a tree. He also sustained chest wounds but no bones or tendons were damaged.

Harvest of Walnuts Reported by California Growers

Deane Tobias from California reports English walnuts produced by the Saticoy Walnut Growers Association. J W Miller says Tobias and his father delivered 83,288 pounds to the warehouse with about 4,000 pounds left for sale. The crop may total around 26,000 dollars. The association processed and shipped 180 tons in 29 hours, with 375 carloads sent during a 30 day season. J W Miller received a sample box from Deane Tobias.

State v Reynold summons numerous witnesses for Toledo clothing robbery case

Nearly thirty five witnesses have been summoned for the State against Benjamin C Reynold in common pleas court next Tuesday. Reynolds, of Toledo, is alleged to be connected with clothing robberies at Cares when a large number of suits were taken from a house. The case promises to be highly interesting in court.
