Missionary John Patterson to speak at local Methodist Church
The Rev. John Patterson, a leading Methodist missionary to India, will be the guest speaker at the local church on Friday December 6. Patterson supersedes the Vikarabad District in the Hyderabad annual conference serving about 75 churches and 53 Sunday schools across 3000 square miles with a Telugu speaking population of 500000. He arrived in 1920 after ordination in the Kansas conference and has held roles in Secund, Hyderabad, Crawford Boys School and Kodiskanal School. He will also attend a sociability pot luck supper at 6:30 PM.
