Fine onions attract buyers at local display
Unusually fine onions are being grown in the locality this season. Several specimens from John Hendricks's farm northwest of town were shown at the Peoples Bank. On Tuesday buyers bid about 1.75 dollars for white onions and 1.50 dollars for yellow ones.

The Carey public schools will begin the 1928-1929 term on Monday September 10. Morning assembly time changes to 9:00 AM with bells at 8:40 8:55 and 9:00 for tardiness. A Miami couple's two year old child, A R Kokenge, is under daily rabies treatments at Dr Biggs in Findlay after a pet kitten bit the lip during a visit to Avilia Indiana. The cat tested positive for rabies and the child will need 21 treatments to be safe.
