On their wedding trip Mr and Mrs Ambrose Shank of Cincinnati stayed at the home of her uncle Squire Joseph Wonder and his wife with relatives. Mrs Shank is the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Peter Leiz. She sang at the equal suffrage meeting and at United Evangelical church. She leads singing at street gospel meetings and is a stenographer for a training mission school. Mr Shank is a Methodist Episcopal theological student.

Carey Village Council approves Vance Street paving bid
At the Monday night meeting Mayor Laughlin and councilmen approved bids for paving Vance Street. Asphalt Block Paving Co of Toledo was named the lowest bid at 17 281 62 and the mayor and clerk were authorized to contract with bond of 10 000 within five days.
