Carey and Wyandot County urged to back Chinaware plant
A city and county are urged to join a $500 000 funding plan for the Hume China Co to establish a Chinaware manufacturing plant. The proposal asks Carey and county residents to buy $100 shares of cumulative and participating 8 percent preferred stock with one common share per two preferred. The plan promotes pooling capital, expanding local industry, and sharing profits up to 14 percent for stockholders.
