Earl S Burson Dies Carey Leader and Banker
Earl S. Burson 78 a Carey businessman and longtime chairman of the Commercial Savings Bank Upper Sandusky died at home after a three year illness. A lifelong resident he built Burson Clothing and Burson Hale Inc. Also a prominent cattle farmer he helped bring industry to Carey and guided community building projects including schools and apartments. Survived by his wife Laura and three children with multiple step relatives and grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Christ Lutheran Church with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery.

The Village Planning Commission held a Thursday meeting to begin phase two of the comprehensive plan. The study will cover the business district water supply sanitation waste disposal storm drainage refuse and garbage disposal public utilities schools parks recreation facilities and public buildings.
