Carey Has Large Summer Music Program
The Carey schools run their largest summer music program with 95 students in lessons weekly. The Cadet Band with 40 members and a 65 member High School Band rehearse twice weekly for music and marching. Twenty beginners attend the summer session on a trial basis to identify musical aptitude and interest. Enrollment for beginners is closed for the term start. parents should contact Mr. Hawk at the high school to join the program.

Fire damages house under construction in Tiffin
Fire of undetermined origin Wednesday night destroyed the interior of the Musgrave ranch type house on Melmore street built by Mr and Mrs Harold Musgrave of Tiffin. Fireproof lath preserved the framework and finished maple and mahogany walls were ruined except the kitchen. Mr Musgrave, son of Mrs Ben Brayton, had been doing interior work and planned to move in this fall.

Suffers Skull Fracture In Porch Swing Accident

Mrs Leora Frederick buys the room on Findlay street long used by Fredericks Clover Farm grocery. The store was run by F H Frederick until his death twelve years ago.
