Ranger Carrier Heads to New York for World’s Fair Duty
Russell L. Stout from Norfolk reports the U S S Ranger arrived for duty after a Boston wait and joins the Atlantic squadron. The fleet sails for the Pacific, while Ranger stays to represent the Naval Air Force at the World’s Fair in New York from April 26 to May 16, occupying Pier 32.
