Staff Sergeants Herman J. Logsdon and Harold L. Logsdon, sons of Mr and Mrs Wilfrid Logsdon of south of Carey, were discharged February 15 1946 after enlisting April 22 1943. The identical twins served together most of their time, were aviation electricians, and saw 15 months of Pacific duty. They earned the Asiatic Pacific ribbon with two battle stars the Philippine Liberation ribbon with one star the American theater ribbon the Army commendation and the Victory medal. Herman helped build a Carey elevator post service while Harold worked on a new locker plant.
