Stolen Ford sedan recovered after Kentucky arrest
Two Detroit men arrested in Kentucky confessed leading to the return of a four door Ford sedan stolen August 20, 1934 from Henry Ginsberg in Detroit. The car was traced via a factory frame number and passed through Toledo Findlay and a used car dealer before recovery. Eight stolen cars were linked to the men.

Fire at Dunn Home Destroys Curtains and Smoke Damages Kitchen
A Sunday fire at the Ernest Dunn residence on West Findlay Street started by cooking grease in the kitchen. Two pairs of curtains and window shades were burned, woodwork scorched, and walls badly smoked. The family extinguished the flames before the fire department arrived.

School News Highlights From Yearbook Activities
The annual staff met after operetta practice to begin mimeographing the yearbook ads. Senior class canvassed Caryatid sales, while all classes wrote histories for assignments. Judson Frederick won final, and several students earned perfect or near perfect scores in spelling dictations last week.
School tests and equipment run in Lima visit
Mr Huffman and Edgar Keller visited Lima on Friday to buy football equipment. Seventy five eighth graders took the state test Saturday morning with fifty one from public schools and twenty four from the parochial school. Next week the state department will send results of both the senior scholarship test and the eighth grade test.

Hallis Wagner a 39 year old farmer from near McCutchenville is missing from his home Sheriff Verne Deats reports. His wife says he was last seen chores at 4:00 am Thursday and there is no stated reason for his disappearance. Wagner is the son of William and Mrs Wagner of Wyandot County and has been a Clark farm tenant northeast of McCutchenville. He has an eight year old son. C G Wagner of East Side Market is his uncle.
