Snyder and Snyder Jewelers to close after Peter Hess death
Peter Hess, longtime owner of Snyder and Snyder Jewelers in San Juan Capistrano, dies May 28 from a fall. His wife Linda says the store will inventory on October 4 to decide whether to close or stay open briefly. Hess, 47, led the Monarch Beach Sunrise Rotary and earned Rotarian of the Year honors. He purchased the shop in 1987 and was active in the jewelry industry and local chambers.
