He will resume his post as president of the Naval War College in Newport R I. President Harding’s cordial post reprimand meeting with Sims appeared to ease the sting of the rebuke.
Funeral services for Right Rev Joseph M Koudelka bishop of the Catholic diocese of Superior Wis who died at his home in Cleveland will likely be held at St Michel s church where he served as pastor for 28 years He was 69 born in Bavaria and served as auxiliary bishop of Cleveland from 1908 to 1911

Fire in Baltimore early today destroyed the home of Meyer Sandler and killed four relatives, two women and two children, with three others injured and three narrowly escaping death. The dead include Mrs Myer Sandler 52 Mrs H A Baron 19 years and a Sandler daughter 12 Evelyn Silbert and a Silbert son Harry Silbert 13. Burn injuries also afflicted Mrs Morris Silbert and Harry Sandler. Mrs Morris Silbert and her infant daughter leaped from a second story window after severe burns.
A public festival under the Service Star Legion near the local American Legion post will be held this evening on the courthouse lawn facing the square. Proceeds fund silverware for the legion clubhouse. Music and refreshments will be available.

In common pleas court The McKinney Steel Co of Cleveland sues Massillon Rolling Mill Co for 330 863.56 for bars shipped and unpaid plus 132 238.55 for later claims. Massillon counters with 348 141.90 and asserts defect claims. The contract ran July 1 to December 30 1920 for 20 000 to 25 000 gross tons weekly at price set quarterly plus 1.25 per ton.
John M. Stanchfield, a leading U.S. lawyer and Democrat figure, died at his Islip summer home after a ten day illness from kidney trouble. He had long been associated with Mrs. James A. Stillman’s legal matters, recently withdrawing, and he played a prominent role in notable cases.

In Toledo on June 25 eleven of the thirteen defendants in the $1,000 post office robbery case were found guilty on conspiracy charges. Acquitted were John J. Epps and Charles Furrier. Sentences deferred until the main robbery trial concludes. some defendants face separate trials for actually staging the holdup on February 17.
