Historian Burns Shows God In History And Belief
Mr Burns, reader in political science at the Institute of Advanced Studies, ANU, spoke on How An Historian Thinks of God at St Mark's Library. He said historical analysis can reveal Christian beliefs in action without definitive proof and that historians often correct their own myths and presuppositions while appraising cultural inheritance and attitudes.
