Builders paid a record £6800 for a Forrest block at a residential lease auction in Albert Hall. Other Forrest blocks sold for £6200 £6100 and £5000, surpassing the previous record £4650 for a Yarralumla block. Auctioned blocks averaged £2075 with 88 blocks raising £182,475, while large group lots averaged £1010 and totalled £240,750.
