No Immediate Changes in Hobby Administration Plan

Austin Texas September 26 Governor William P Hobby says there will be no immediate change in the administration of state affairs after becoming chief executive following Governor Ferguson removal. He plans to meet issues as they arise and avoid disturbing governmental machinery while a fourth called session and investigating committee report are prepared. The present session has four days left with about 25 bills pending including drought relief and land lien transfer to settlers, and local bills await action in both houses.

Little River Baptist Assn Meets October 10

Little River Baptist Association will convene with Rockdale Baptist Church on Wednesday night October 10 at 7 30. Missionary C L Spradley will preach the annual sermon. Churches are urged to send large delegations and prepare reports. The association Budget is 1800 dollars, but 700 remains unpaid. send funds to meet obligations.
