Miss Myrl Maddox niece of Mrs. J. E. Brunt and employee of the local telephone exchange died at her aunt's home in Cameron Tuesday morning at 11 o clock after a brief illness caused by a weak heart. She had lived in Cameron about a year and leaves a mother two sisters and a brother at Walker's Creek. burial was at Ben Arnold. The community extends sympathy to the family.
August Guresky returned from Flatonia with over thirty cotton pickers for Marak citizens. He notes the local cotton is nearly all open with some land yielding almost a bale per acre, while adjacent areas report crops blown up with no cotton.
