The Cameron Commercial Club convened its semiannual meeting on Friday night September 26 1919 with officers Robi McLane C W Lawrence Geo T Graves T N Herring and directors and committee chairs listed. Members were elected for new membership and the club adopted reports and a $60 banquet claim while plans for Cameron Day at the Waco Cotton Palace were approved with a special train and reduced fare.

Annual Corn Show Draws 50+ Entrants in Cameron
Milam county held its annual corn show in the old Dobbins Feed Store Cameron on Saturday. Judge panel from Cameron Ben Arnold and Maysfield announced winners for White and Yellow corn with top prizes of 10 and 10 dollars respectively. County Agent George Banzai hosted the event with remarks from Hon. T. S. Henderson urging continued participation and dairy teaching on traditional versus modern farming methods.
