Buckholts School Raises Lunch Prices and Updates Policies
The Buckholts school board at its September meeting set lunch prices to 50 cents for students and 60 cents for adults starting October 1, up from 40 and 50 cents. Supt. Leon Brady cited improved quality and service to boost participation and noted some eligible patrons have not applied for free lunches. The board revised the bus drivers policy and adopted a leave of absence policy. Buckholts was invited to join the Right to Read Program as a Region VI pilot. Homecoming supper is set for Friday October 5 from 4 to 7 pm, followed by a football game with Abbott at 8 pm.
