Cam eron Bridge Club Hosts and Texas Farming Speech
The Cameron Bridge Club enjoyed a Friday afternoon gathering hosted by Mrs. George T. Moore with guests Mrs. J R Young and Mrs. Allen Hooks. Three tables played a gay sequence of games followed by a chicken and fruit salad meal with decorative ferns roses and Golden-rod. The piece urges Texas farmers to diversify from cotton toward crops less tied to foreign markets and promotes the Texas battle ship hog as a sign of prosperity. A November 7 meeting is announced with a call for full attendance and reports from the board of directors.
