The Youth Exposition Association board met to form committees and finalize operation guidelines as the fund drive nears its 65,000 dollar goal with 62,750 raised. The Cameron Volunteer Fire Department ladies pumper team took first place Sunday among 13 teams at the state firemen's convention held at the Dallas State Fair. Team members included Regina Hairston substituting for Jo Ann Thompson, Penney Horelica, Pat Horelica, Agnes Bruedigan, June Harwell and her daughter Janet.
