Cameron aims for a third straight district title as Killeen battles the Kangaroos in a regional rivalry. Past outcomes show Cameron strong at home and against Killeen in key years, while Killeen has had a rough season but recent conference wins.
Leo Buckley of Killeen is a well known sports figure in Cameron. He played baseball in Cameron in his youth when Wm. R. Rogers led the Comets. Buckley later turned to coaching football and has become notably successful, with his standout pupil Tom Bishop emerging as a star.
Friday night matchup puts Cameron as a heavy favorite against Killeen whose season shows weakness. The Kangaroos are expected to challenge Cameron despite the odds. Penn Wolf notes Killeen fans chartered a train indicating belief in an upset possibility.

Mr and Mrs Ellis Coker are called to Waco where their daughter Alice Marie underwent surgery at Hillcrest Hospital. She is a student nurse at the hospital and is reported to be improving rapidly.
