Mrs Conn R Isaacs wife of Milam County auditor died at 7 30 Sunday October 17 at the family residence in Rockdale from a heart attack after church and illness following a physician visit. Funeral services were set for 10 00 a m Tuesday October 18 in Rockdale. Surviving are her husband and son C R Isaacs Jr. She was formerly Dell Simms of a prominent Milam county family and a member of the First Christian church.

Robinson Indicted For Assault On Rockdale Resident
Claude Robinson was indicted by the grand jury for assault with intent to murder in Rockdale connected to an attack on Charlie Landis the former night watchman. Landis was taken to a Marlin hospital after the September incident. Robinson posted $500 bond and was released with trial not yet set.
