Cotton Fire Destroys Brenham Warehouse
The Seidel Brothers Gin Co. warehouse in Brenham burned early today, causing an estimated $250,000 loss in cotton and cotton seed. More than 1,000 bales of cotton and 50 tons of cottonseed were stored there. insurance reportedly covered most losses. Volunteer Fireman H A Krueger suffered a broken arm during efforts.
