Cameron Poultry Farm of Cameron captured five of eight senior egg production championships at the Texas State Fair Poultry Show in Dallas. The farm won grand champion female, reserve grand champion male White Rock, grand champion pen of four, reserve grand champion pen of four, and grand champion display, with most entries in White Leghorns. Ideal Hatchery and Poultry Farm promotes a new three way strain cross White Leghorns, D-3-W, developed in five years. the birds placed second in Oklahoma egg laying.

Mrs S M Allison Dies After One Week Illness
Mrs. S. M. Allison, 82, died Monday afternoon October 8 at her Cameron home after a week long illness. Funeral services were held October 9 at 3 p.m. at Green Funeral Home chapel with Rev. E. J. Davis officiating. Interment followed at Salem cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Allison of Cameron, two daughters Myrtle Lewis of Houston and Mabel Johnson of Cameron, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
