The Cameron Commercial Club held its first regular meeting of the new board. T N Herring was re elected secretary for six months while standing committees were formed with a large slate of chairs including W W Chambers public ity Wm Cobb transportation and Monta Thomas civic improvement and H M Hefley convention and accommodation. Harry B Fleharty will visit Cameron October 9 seeking support for the Liberty Loan drive and committees were named to secure music and build a courthouse lawn stand. The session drew full attendance and signals six months of active effort.

Sunday School Rally Day Great Success in Cameron
The Sunday School Rally Day in Cameron drew 549 participants from five churches. The parade formed at ten o clock with 135 Presbyterians 173 Methodists 216 Baptists 18 Christians and 7 Episcopalians.
