The Cameron Commercial Club held its semi annual meeting with record attendance and 276 members. Officers elected include President Robert McLane and Vice president Royal P. Jeter, with B F Bonds named treasurer. Directors chosen include C W Lawrence and W G Gillis. New Draft Eligible Count In Milam County
Milam War Board chair Eugene Wallace says from 4100 registered, about 1000 men will be eligible for Class 1-A after exemptions and exams. Expect 1200 in Class A with reductions for physical defects.
