Rogers Sets Bi Annual Homecoming Date and Plans
The Rogers sixteenth bi annual homecoming is set for April 30, 1977. Homecoming officers and committees reviewed reports and laid plans for entries, address changes, and parade participation. The 1977 officers include Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wimberly presidents and several other coordinators across committees. The next meeting is January 3 at 7 p.m. in the Rogers High School Library.

TJC Choir To Present Yale Cantata
The Temple Junior College Concert Choir will present Sonny Salsbury’s Love Came Down a Christmas cantata at area churches in December. Performances include Dec 1 at Taylor Valley Baptist Church Dec 8 at First Baptist Holland and Dec 12 at First Baptist Bartlett with readings and new carol arrangements.

Community affairs program at Women’s Club meeting
Mrs Virginia Schuhsler led a program at the Business and Professional Women’s Club on November 15. Seven members and one guest attended as she praised Cameron’s progress and highlighted the elderly nutrition program and a planned Meals on Wheels service for home bound seniors. Hostesses were Mrs. Vance Werner and Mrs. Frances Hudson. The next meeting is December 6.

Chanters To Present Christmas Concert in Cameron
The McMurry College Chanters from Abilene will perform a Christmas concert at First United Methodist Church in Cameron at 7 30 p m on Thursday December 2. The 51 member a cappella choir has toured Europe and sang at Philadelphia s Bicentennial. Under Dr David S Blackburn the ensemble represents Baylor and First United Methodist Church Waco heritage. Public invited. event part of a Central Texas winter tour.
