Farmland Investment Trends and Buyer Profiles
County Agent's Notes examines why investors buy farm real estate. Farmers remain the main buyers, expanding operations, while nonfarmers purchase small plots as residences or investments. Returns on farmland average around 9.1 percent when factoring earnings and appreciation, but stock markets show higher potential. Expanded land retirement or limits on payments could alter prices. Projections consider farming land and land valued for urban growth and recreation, noting rising prices from demand near growing areas.

You Don't Say or at least you shouldn't unless you are crediting the word
A cryptic note credits Adria Allen and defines stretching a word to its full potential as a hippy group’s activity. It questions when language loses productive force and how attribution shifts meaning.
