I Dale vs Cadets Hearings End With Pen Bound
Two men were sent to the State Penitentiary following hearings in Milam District Court. Howard Ray Karl 19 of Holland had probation revoked after admitting burglaries of a Temple driver in grocery and Temple Store. James Rucker 27 Negro received a two year penitentiary sentence for stealing a Chevrolet pickup and burglarizing Rogers building on Feb 7 1961.

L R Wallace 66 died at his Irving home Sunday. Funeral held Tuesday at 2 pm at Cameron First Baptist Church with Masonic graveside rites at North Elm Cemetery. Born in Milam County Yarrellton, he moved to Irving in 1957 and worked for the Irving School System. Survivors include his wife, three sons, two daughters, his mother, two sisters and 13 grandchildren.

Services Held For Burlington Priest Father Michael O Regan
Funeral services were held November 11 for Father Michael O Regan pastor of St Michaels Catholic Church for 19 years. He died November 8 in a local hospital. Bishop Reicher of Austin conducted the service and Monsignor Kirwam of Port Arthur gave the funeral address. Burial was in Burlington Cemetery. Father O Regan born 1896 in Ireland lived in the United States for 85 years. He was ordained in 1921 in Galveston. He also served missions at Cyclone Franklin and Rosebud and oversaw a new church at Burlington and new buildings at Franklin and Cyclone. He is survived by one sister in Canada.

Mrs. H. F. Lange 63 of Sharp died Tuesday afternoon of a heart attack while driving. She pulled off to the road as she became ill. Funeral services are pending at Marek Burns Funeral Home with burial in Sharp Cemetery. Born April 25, 1898 in Washington County, she had lived in Sharp 46 years and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
