Baylor University Drive Starts Sunday Campaign Launch
Five months of strenuous district activity will end Friday November 23 as hundreds of Baptist workers begin the Greater Baylor University campaign to raise 2 million dollars statewide before December 4. Damages Awarded In Auto Injury Suit
Paul Schehing must pay Preston Armstrong 1500 damages after a district court verdict. Armstrong was injured in a wreck near Minerva that also claimed Miss Manley’s life. The Texas murder case State v Cruz Garcia is set for December 10 with a 60 name venire. Roy Thornton and Henry White, charged with burglarizing a Thorndale cafe piano, received two years suspended sentence.
