Cameron Fans Hope For Better Weather

Weather reports early Wednesday morning warned Cameron residents of possible snow and cold rain for tomorrow's big game. Fewer will attend the S M U and T C U game in Fort Worth while many will travel to Austin for the Texas A and M showdown where the conference title hangs in the balance. If Texas loses to A and M the title would pass to Arkansas, and a tie would spark further discussion.

W. B. Woody Dies. Confederate Veteran Pioneer

Col. W. B. Woody of Rockdale, veteran of the Southern Confederacy and pioneer, died here Tuesday night at over 80 years old. His body lay at Coleman-Eplen Funeral Home and will be moved to Rockdale Wednesday for funeral arrangements. Woody was a Virginia native and noted Confederate veteran.

Boy Scout Program Set For December 7 At You High School

Jon Matula scoutmaster announced a Boy Scout program to be held December 7 1928 at the You High School auditorium starting at 7 46 pm. Admission is free with Dan Beard Troop sponsoring. The program features music singing vaudeville readings pantomimes jokes and a short play by the troop to educate the public about Scout activities and aims.
