Thorndale Brass Band Reorganized and New Officers Elected
At a meeting of about sixteen members last Thursday Thorndale Brass Band reorganized with new officers. The band plans regular Wednesday practices over Davis and Turner's store balcony to regain form after a busy period. Herman Winters is President, Emil Richter Vice President, FE G Hoppe Secretary, Oscar Moerbe Treasurer, Emil Morebe Janitor, JFB Bier Leader, E C Hoppe Assistant Leader.

Grand Jury Impaneled in November Term District Court
Judge John Watson presided on Tuesday November 13 1923 as the Grand Jury for the district term was impaneled. Foreman H Hi Camp and twelve other members plus bailiffs were named. In State of Texas versus A Oliphant the jury found the defendant guilty of manslaughter with a five year penalty.
