Cameron CYO Welcomes New Members and Films Night

The Cameron Chapter of the CYO welcomed Don and Gwen Pampham as new members at the Wednesday meeting. Father Alfred Kallas answered questions from the question box and screened two educational films on Catholic Education and the Christopher Movement. Planning discussed included a 42 party a skating social and a volleyball practice with arrangements for a breakfast after the monthly communion.

Baptist Youths Renew Tradition On Coon Hunt

A Cameron area outing by First Baptist Church youths revived a longtime tradition with Dr. Joe Parker guiding four dogs to trees that yielded two raccoons and plenty of fun for 25 participants. Rosebud Rites For Mrs Haenisch 79

Funeral services for Mrs Geor ge Haenisch 79 of Rosebud were held at the Green Funeral Home with burial in Woodland Cemetery. She died Tuesday at her daughter’s home in Cameron. Survivors include three sons Walter Oscar Haenisch and Henry, six grandchildren three great grandchildren and a brother Frank Schiller.

William C Black former Cameron city attorney and 1956 candidate for state representative will start work in Dallas Monday with Commerce Clearing House Inc a law reporter publisher He will be succeeded by Jack Prescott and move his family to Dallas in December Black taught at Milam Vocational School and Yee High School and was active in local groups including the Cameron Kiwanis Club and Volunteer Fire Department He previously practiced law in Cameron since May 1956 and lost the Milam Robertson counties primary bid.

Trades Day Resumes In Cameron At 3:30 P M
