Local Texas draft boards received the first call for examinations of physicians dentists and veterinarians totaling 95 doctors 42 dentists and 54 veterinarians. Examinations will occur November 20 to 24 with future December dates not yet set. Readiness coded by Wakefield notes many registrants are available and some boards have no eligibles. Locations include Amarillo Abilene Corpus Christi El Paso Texarkana San Antonio Houston Dallas and Shreveport. Dr Marvin Bartlett says many doctors volunteer and local doctors may avoid service.
