The Woodmen Circle held a June May 25 rally at Woodmen hall with supreme officers from Omaha St Paul and Texas plus Groves from Rockdale Somerville Buckholts Ben Arnold and Tanglewood. A full program included welcomes lectures music lunch and a joint session with W O W chapters.

The fifth annual Cameron Chautauqua opened with Rev J E Aubrey on stage at City Park and a strong program planned for three days. The drive for Red Cross funds neared completion as John B Ratto and the Ladies Regimental Orchestra drew crowds, with $600 raised toward the $6,000 goal. The schedule featured Eve Anderson Company, Dr Ira D Landrith, Lt E H Lougher, Canadian War Veterans, and Captain David Fallon, culminating with Montraville Wood and a Premier Artists concert on Saturday.

Red Cross War Fund Drive Exceeds Cameron Quota

Cameron Chapter American Red Cross reports a highly successful Second War Fund Drive led by Royal P. Jeter. The $10,000 quota was easily met and over $3,500 above that was sent to headquarters, reflecting strong local support from the Cameron Commercial Club volunteers and Mrs. Jeff T. Kemp's committee.
