6 Hurt in Car Crash Sunday Night

Mr and Mrs Jeff Cammer of Cameron were injured Sunday night in a crash on Highway 69 between Milano and Gause. Two soldiers from Camp Hood and two unnamed girls were also injured with one soldier in Cameron Hospital. Mr Cammer he believed seriously injured. Mrs Cammer’s injuries not serious.

A telephone message to Mrs Judd G Davis from Mrs John H Davis in Austin reported the shoulder wound and hopeful progress. Davis, formerly with Citizens National Bank in Cameron, has seen heavy fighting and is a nephew of Judd G Davis and Will Davis.

Poppy Sale Opens Here Saturday by VFW

Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold their annual Memorial Day poppy sale in Cameron on Saturday May 26. Poppies are made by disabled veterans in hospitals and funds aid veterans families and those serving in the Armed Forces locally and nationally. Poppy girls will be on the streets all day and the public is urged to give generously.

Poultry Show Planned for Cameron by Chamber Leader

Lions Club adjusts waste paper drive for Cameron town

The Lions announce a revised plan for scrap paper collection in Cameron. After today May 23, residential waste paper will be collected only on the second Wednesday of each month.
